I find that there is majesty in rituals and celebrations when the intention is about honouring the moment:  the moment of birth; the moment of marriage; the moment of death; the moment of hope when wishing anew at the start of a new year.  And always, simply always, the moment when we fall in love again.

An exploration of the mystical healing force of grace and love. Hallelujah.  An intimate experience of community through poetry, prose, conversation, music and the written word.  At the core of the retreat is putting your soul language to writing.  This retreat will be your opportunity to remind yourself of who and what you loved, and still love.  A day to reflect, to be in community and to write.  No prior creative writing experience necessary.  Always beginning.  Always a discovery....

Note:

The inspiration for the name of this retreat "Remind Me of What I Loved," came after I read a heartfelt piece written by the author, Caroline Myss.  Caroline Myss overheard a conversation between an elderly mother and her daughter at their birthday lunch.  I was so touched by what I'd read, that I gave deep thought to what I loved and was reminded of just how easy it is for any one of us to forget...just as the daughter did, until her mother reminded her of what is truly important in life.
